The Chico Review is the premier photobook event in the country. This all-inclusive retreat takes place over six nights and seven days at Chico Hot Springs Resort, near Livingston, Montana. Sixty-four photographers will be selected by our jury and invited to spend the week with twenty of the most influential and creative photographers, book makers, gallerists, museum curators, and publishers in the industry.
Due to Covid 19, the 2021 Chico Review was restructured into a 2-week online, intensive masterclass due to the uncertainty for travel and gatherings that year. Charcoal Book Club decided to publish this catalog to give the work that was presented and reviewed that year a physical manifestation. We would like to thank all of our speakers, reviewers, attendees, and alumni for making 2021 such a special year despite the difficulties of the online experience.
