Like a visual tale, Dutch photographer Louise Honée takes us into the daily life of children and teenagers of West Virginia. Louise Honée turned her gaze to the forgotten America decimated by the demise of the mining industry. She shares a poetical, intimate and hopeful view on the relationship and attachment of this youth to the environment where they have grown up.
The Prix HSBC pour la Photographie celebrates in 2020 its 25th edition. The Prize supports each year two photographers, that have not published a monograph yet, in the production of a book published by Atelier EXB and a traveling exhibition throughout France.
